The American School of Bilbao, in its endeavour to comply strictly with the regulations applicable to it, as well as to develop a system adapted to the new legal requirements, has decided to implement a comprehensive Compliance programme in its organisation, covering all its areas of activity.
To this end, it has placed itself in the hands of the team at Llonín Abogados, which has been responsible for directing the process of creating and implementing the programme in collaboration with the American School of Bilbao.
In this regard, a global analysis has been carried out of the school and its exposure to offences that could give rise to criminal liability of the legal entity. Based on this analysis, a risk map has been drawn up illustrating the situation of the organisation.
Once the risk map was presented, the necessary measures have been adopted to prevent the occurrence of this type of conduct at the school, so that the American School of Bilbao can carry out its activity with all possible guarantees.
In fulfilment of the school's Mission, Vision and Values, which include commitment, responsibility and respect, the American School of Bilbao chooses to document in its Compliance programme the rights and obligations of the members of the Educational Community, in order to achieve excellence in the service it provides to society.
In order to effectively disseminate the programme, as well as to monitor compliance with it, a Compliance Committee has been appointed, made up of representatives of the School's Management.
Likewise, a confidential communication channel with the Committee has been implemented at the school, so that possible reports of non-compliance with the programme are handled with full guarantees and in accordance with an appropriate procedure and in compliance with the applicable regulations.
Finally, should you wish to obtain further information or contact the Compliance Committee to report any circumstance related to the matter set out above, please do not hesitate to contact it at the following email address: compliance@asob.es
